For Fall ’20 I forecasted hues of blues not anticipating the current pandemic but maybe that was more of a foreshadowing. The hats in this collection were designed in casual elegance with a western style relaxed feel of cowboy hats and fedoras. The Wyoming hat featured here definitely reflects a cool mode in cobalt blue in uncertain times.
The taller unfussy crown takes into consideration the simple life of the country with a blend of an unexpected pop of color with contrasting multicolored rope trim. This year has jolted our idea of “normal” to reflect even a pop to our wardrobe. With the current state of things nothing should be surprising, not even fashion…….
I take into my creative plight that I have the ability to create in confinement but that certainly doesn’t mean I am limited. Pairing down the basics has allowed me to expand my creativity and dig deeper and to move beyond this isolated period……. Welcome Fall ’20……
